Sekhem Reiki is primarily sourced from the Egyptian Goddess Sekhmet, and has been practiced for over 2,500 years, originating in the Egyptian Mystery Schools. Sekhem Reiki is a high-vibrational healing energy system with an all-encompassing power and completeness that some other systems do not seem to have. Goddess Sekhmet destroys all that does not serve the Light – doing so with compassion. Her energy is gentle, feminine and loving, assisting in cutting through blocks with fierce grace.
In Sekhem Reiki, we work with ancient symbols, chakras and the Luminous Energy Field, which align with Quantum Physics (a system that works with energy fields in the Universe).

What to Expect During an In-Person Session:
Expect to arrive into a cozy, nurturing space that has been prepared just for you. We will briefly discuss any physical, emotional, mental or spiritual issues that you would like to focus on during the session. You may have a specific intention you would like to work on, or a general “tune-up”.
There will be a comfortable massage table for you to rest on, with blankets if you need to be warmer, as well as soft music playing that is designed to fully relax and put your system at ease. You may feel sensations in your body (tingling, heat, etc.) during your session, that may shift to different parts of your body as we work on different energy centers. You may receive messages, images, or hear voices. Often clients report feeling a deep sense of ease and (usually immediate) relief from their symptoms.
After we attune your body to the Sekhem Reiki energy with symbols, intention and the calling in of specific frequencies, you will rest while we play the Mars and Venus Planetary Gongs to allow deeper integration, relaxation, ease, nervous system balance and cellular repatterning. If you are experiencing a tandem session with both Amuha and Ki, there may also be other healing instruments added, such as the Native American flute, Drone flute, Rainstick, Rattle and Ocean Drum.
What to Expect During a Distance Session:
Expect to be called into a cozy, nurturing space that has been prepared just for you. We will set a time when we are both able to devote full attention to the session. We will briefly discuss any physical, emotional, mental or spiritual issues beforehand that would like us to focus on during the session. You may have a specific intention you would like to work on, or a general “tune-up”.
Sessions are usually 30 min to 60 min long, which we will agree to before the session. You should be sitting or even lying down, with no television, radio or other distractions nearby. Please do not eat a full meal at least an hour before the session.

The symbols used while giving distance sessions allow a bridge to form across time & space. These symbols work on the subconscious level, while also connecting to Source consciousness. Studies have shown that not only does distance healing work, but also that the distance doesn’t matter – whether it is 50 feet, 50 miles, or 5,000 miles.
